De eerste release candidate voor WordPress 5.7 is nu beschikbaar!
Wat betekent Release Candidate?
“Release Candidate” betekent dat de nieuwe versie klaar is voor release, maar met miljoenen gebruikers en duizenden plug-ins en thema’s is het mogelijk dat er iets is gemist of niet goed werkt. WordPress 5.7 staat gepland voor release op 9 maart 2021.
Wat zit er in WordPress 5.7?
- Robots API en zichtbaarheid van mediazoekmachines
- Detecteer HTTPS-ondersteuning
- Lazy-load iframes
- jQuery-migratie-gerelateerde beëindiging kennisgeving opschoning
- Standaardisatie van kleurenpalet voor beheerders
- De nieuwste versie van de Gutenberg-plug-in
De Tester
Zoals we eerder noemde in dit artikel staat WordPress 5.7 gepland op 9 maart 2021, maar het WordPress Community heeft uw hulp nodig als tester, als u 5.7 nog niet hebt geprobeerd, is dit het juiste moment!
U kunt de releasekandidaat voor WordPress 5.7 op twee manieren testen:
- Try the WordPress Beta Tester plugin (choose the “Bleeding edge” channel and Beta/RC Only” stream options)
- Or download the release candidate here (zip).
Het WordPress Community dankt aan alle bijdragers die de bètaversies hebben getest en feedback hebben gegeven. Testen op bugs is een cruciaal onderdeel van het polijsten van elke release en een geweldige manier om bij te dragen aan WordPress.
Thema & Plugin Devs
Please test your plugins and themes against WordPress 5.7 and update the Tested up to version in the readme file to 5.7. If you find compatibility problems, please be sure to post to the support forums, so those can be figured out before the final release.
